Our story
Helma, Eva and their mother, Dona Terezinha
Restaurante Dona Tuca opened in 2023. It belongs to sisters Helma and Eva, from Bocaiúva, Minas Gerais, who came to start over in Ubatuba and brought home cooking with them.
Before that, they spent years in São Paulo. Helma has always loved to cook. Eva likes people and runs the service. Together, they opened a place to eat the way you eat at home.
The name comes from their mother, Dona Terezinha, whom the family calls Tuquinha. That is where Dona Tuca comes from.
